For her many contributions to our community, Safe Harbors Founder & Executive Director Tricia Haggerty Wenz has been named an honoree for The Girl Scouts Heart of the Hudson and the YWCA Orange County's Tribute to Women in Achivement. She received the award at a ceremony at Anthony's Pier 9 in Newburgh on May 12. In addition to Tribute to Women in Achievement, Tricia was presented with a Women in Distinction Award by all 62 members of the New York State Senate. Nominated by Senator William Larkin for enriching the quality of life in the Newburgh community, Tricia accepted the award on May 25 in Albany.
