Ritz Theater: NYSCA to Fund Tom Humphrey Guitar Series
The Ritz Theater is pleased to announce that our 2010-11 Tom Humphrey Guitar Series will be funded by the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA).
NYSCA's goal is "to bring high-quality artistic programs to the citizens of the state through supporting the activities of nonprofit arts and cultural organizations.”
The project description is as follows on NYSCA's website: “ The Tom Humphrey Guitar Series honors the memory of the legendary Hudson Valley-based luthier who passed away in 2008. The idea for the concerts came from Tom Humphrey just two months before his death. The Ritz presents an annual five concert guitar series featuring multiple genres.”
