You may submit up to 3 works for selection, either jpeg or pdf are acceptable. Please include your contact information, title of work, media, and dimensions.

Submission deadline: Friday, September 11, 2020, midnight EST
Notification: You will be notified if your work has been chosen by Wednesday, September 15th.
Installation: All works selected for the exhibition must be ready to hang; video works must be installed by artist using artist equipment. White gallery walls are available for projection.
Drop off/shipping: All works selected must be dropped off at the Gallery on Sunday, September 20 between 10am and 12pm or Monday, September 21 between 10am and 1pm; or shipped by the artist to arrive at the Gallery by Monday, September 21.
Description:
Newburgh, NY based Safe Harbors of the Hudson, a housing and arts non-profit redevelopment project, was founded in 2000 with the mission of transforming lives and building community through housing and the arts. The Safe Harbors campus includes 128 units of supportive housing in a renovated landmark hotel; a half-acre urban park; eight artist studio spaces; and a contemporary art gallery.
This call is open to Black artists and allies working in all media for an exhibition in the Ann Street Gallery designed to amplify and celebrate Black voices. Black artists may submit works of any media; allies are asked to submit works relevant to the Black Lives Matter movement.
All art sales will be managed by the artist. All proceeds from the sale of art will go directly to the artist.
