Annual Gala – Celebrating Community
Thank you so much for supporting Safe Harbors 2021 Gala.
Unfortunately, the weather is not cooperating with our festive plans for the park; and because of the rise in cases of the Delta Variant, we are unable to move the full event to our rain venue, and so have made the tough decision to cancel the gala we had planned.
We are not cancelling the festivities entirely, however. We will be shifting to a Facebook live/limited capacity event and inviting guests to join us Friday evening from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. for an open-house, wine and cheese reception in our Ann Street Gallery, 104 Ann Street, Newburgh.
In the Gallery, guests will enjoy the exhibition of Brian Wolfe’s photography and live music from Henderson & Osinski; and at 6:30 p.m. we will present the Cornerstone of the Community Awards to our honorees, Brian Wolfe and Affinity Health Plan.
Brian’s photographs will be available for purchase at the Gallery or on-line here and our always popular silent auction is now LIVE for bidding and will continue through 5 p.m. Sunday, September 19th.
With the health of our guests, employees and community in mind, we will be limiting access to the Gallery to 25 at a time, and ask that all unvaccinated guests wear a mask when in the Gallery.
In light of the change in plans, Safe Harbors will gladly refund your gala ticket purchase. If, however, you choose to make your ticket purchase a donation to this fundraising event, you will be supporting Safe Harbors housing, visual and performing arts, park and youth and community programs all of which strengthen our mission of transforming lives and building community through housing and the arts – and for that, we would be truly grateful!
Please contact Billy Totten at firstname.lastname@example.org or call (845) 784-1145 for ticket refund information and thank you in advance for your consideration.
Thank you for your understanding; we share in your disappointment and look forward to next year!
