Calling all Cinephiles!
Safe Harbors of the Hudson is proud to present the In Frame Film Series, monthly movie nights at the Lobby at the Ritz hosted by Shane Killoran, Founder and Director of Hit House Creative and the Beacon-based Hit House Film series.
The In Frame Film Series will screen a diverse and dynamic range of titles, with the goal of connecting community via the experience of film. Come early for beverages, traditional movie snacks, food offerings, and time to converse with your fellow cinephiles. Shane will introduce each film, providing insights into the filmmakers and artists involved, historical context and impact, and even some Hollywood gossip.
Monthly film titles will be determined with audience feedback. Follow @safeharborsofthehudson for future screening announcements. Email boxoffice@safe-harbors.org for any questions about upcoming events or screenings.
“We are so excited to be expanding Safe Harbors’ multimedia offerings this year with new series like In Frame. It’s an honor to join forces with Shane and Hit House to bring a monthly art house film forum to Newburgh, building on the success they’ve had in Beacon, and to grow a community of film lovers from both sides of the Hudson River.”
Ken Martinez, Director of Performing Arts & Community Programming

ABOUT HIT HOUSE CREATIVE
Hit House Creative, home to Hit House Film, was founded with the mission to create and connect community through the experience of theatre and film programming. Since formally launching in 2022, the company has offered a consistent range of theatrical and film programming at local venues such as The Beacon and The Howland Cultural Center. December of 2024, Hit House’s holiday show, How the (David) Lynch Stole Christmas was performed at The Yard in Beacon, NY to sold out houses. Providing space for playwrights to hear their work – key for dramatists- most recently, Hit House launched a bimonthly performed play reading series at The Howland with the next evening of work being presented March 19, 2025.
